Mounting, charging and connecting it
The base holds a 9600 mAh battery and a magnet, so it attaches to iron surfaces without wiring. Look at your trailer or hitch and decide whether you have a magnetic surface where a rear or hitch view makes sense. Aluminum carriages need a metal plate added, which is not included.
Charge it with the included cable for 8 to 10 hours before the first use, then pair the app over WiFi. The camera shuts down after 30 minutes of not being used, so you'll switch it back on each time you want a picture.
