Honda today introduced Sport-L for the 2027 Civic Sedan and Hatchback, bringing leather upholstery and heated front seats to a trim with a 2.0-liter engine and CVT (opens in a new tab). Honda schedules its arrival for year end, with sedan MSRP starting at $28,495 and hatchback MSRP starting at $29,695, each excluding a $1,295 destination charge.
Sport-L sits above Sport and below Sport Hybrid in the lineup. Its front seats have power adjustment, and its climate system offers dual-zone control, features previously reserved for hybrid trims. EPA combined mileage ratings for Sport-L are 34 mpg for both body styles, with actual mileage varying by driving, maintenance and operating conditions.

Sport Touring Hybrid also gains Honda S+ Shift, a drive mode that Honda says imitates a performance transmission through simulated downshifts with rev matching, gear holding and enhanced engine sounds. The sedan carries an MSRP of $32,695, while the hatchback carries an MSRP of $33,895, before the $1,295 destination charge.
When and where to buy
The 2027 Civic lineup is beginning to reach Honda dealerships nationwide now. The entry sedan remains LX, with MSRP starting at $24,995 before destination, while the hatchback range begins with Sport at an MSRP of $28,195 before destination.
Sport Hybrid sedan MSRP starts at $29,695, and Sport Hybrid hatchback MSRP starts at $30,895, also excluding destination. All quoted MSRPs exclude taxes, licensing, registration, dealer-installed accessories and the $455 charge for premium paint colors, and dealers may set different prices.
