Honda is recalling certain 2023-2025 VT1300CX motorcycles and certain 2024-2025 VT750 motorcycles because a manufacturing defect may cause their fuel pumps to malfunction (opens in a new tab). A failed pump can stall the engine, raising the chance of a crash for riders of the affected motorcycles.

The recall covers a potentially affected population of 4,206 motorcycles and concerns the gasoline fuel system. NHTSA received the recall report on October 1, 2026, and assigned campaign number 26V633000.

What owners should do

Owners can use their Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) to check whether their motorcycles are included through NHTSA.gov, with recall searches available beginning October 8, 2026. For motorcycles covered by the recall, dealers will install a replacement fuel pump without charging the owner.

Honda will begin mailing notification letters to owners on November 27, 2026. Owners with questions can reach Honda customer service at 1-866-784-1870 and identify the recall using Honda's campaign number, KU9.
