Dodge opened orders today for Smokescreen paint across its HEMI-powered 2027 Durango range, with a U.S. MSRP of $595 for the option (opens in a new tab). Buyers can also order Petrol Blue Laguna leather performance seats at an MSRP of $2,995, but that choice is restricted to Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak.
Both options appeared on the Dodge Durango R/T 392 Smokescreen Concept during August's Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge event before becoming production choices. The new paint expands the Durango palette to 10 exterior choices and marks its third color addition within three months. Smokescreen is a light grey option that Dodge positions as lighter than the existing Destroyer Grey.
How to order the paint and seats
Paint eligibility includes the 710-horsepower Durango SRT Hellcat and Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak. Smokescreen is also an orderable option on Durango GT HEMI AWD, rated at 360 horsepower, and Durango R/T 392, rated at 475 horsepower. The Petrol Blue seat option does not extend to those other trims.
Choosing Petrol Blue brings Laguna leather performance seats with embossed SRT Hellcat logos and stitching in dual silver. The seating configuration accommodates six passengers, with captain's chairs in row two alongside a full center console. Dodge says the additions bring Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak customization choices to more than 20 million combinations.
