Mitsubishi announced today that the 2027 Mitsubishi Eclipse Sportback will start at $37,745 MSRP, with U.S. sales scheduled to begin in October (opens in a new tab). Buyers of the new electric vehicle will have one optional package to consider, the Technology Package, which costs $2,600.
Destination adds $1,995 to the MSRP, or $2,120 for buyers in Hawaii and Alaska. Dealers determine the final sale price, so the starting MSRP excludes both the destination charge and any difference in dealer pricing.
Mitsubishi says the Eclipse Sportback can travel up to 282 miles per charge using its lithium-ion battery, rated at 75 kilowatt-hours. Across all models, Level 1 and Level 2 charging use SAE J1772, while Level 3 charging uses Tesla's NACS format.
What ownership coverage includes
The Eclipse Sportback comes with Mitsubishi Motors Confidence, including limited coverage for the powertrain and battery lasting 10 years or 100,000 miles. Battery capacity has a separate warranty of eight years or 100,000 miles, and the new vehicle limited warranty runs for five years or 60,000 miles.
The included limited maintenance program lasts two years or 30,000 miles. Roadside assistance runs for five years with unlimited mileage, while limited anti-corrosion/perforation coverage lasts seven years or 100,000 miles.
