Toyota says IONNA, which it backs, has exceeded 180 operating charging sites nationwide, giving EV drivers a larger network with newly added Toyota and Lexus app integrations (opens in a new tab). As of September 30, its site count had more than doubled compared with the beginning of 2026.
The expansion includes 40 charging locations at Circle K that IONNA has put into service following a partnership announced earlier this year. Those additions place part of the growing charging network at locations belonging to the convenience retailer.
Toyota reports that IONNA placed first in the DC Fast Chargers category of the JD Power 2026 U.S. Electric Vehicle Experience (EVX) Public Charging Study SM. It achieved that customer satisfaction ranking during its first eligible year, and Toyota is among the eight automakers that founded the network.
How drivers can access the network
IONNA has chosen to operate without an app of its own, instead supporting access through partner platforms. Toyota reports that 19 partner apps are supported, with the new Toyota and Lexus integrations alongside options including EV Connect, Presto and ChargeHub.
For drivers with certain Toyota and Lexus models, IONNA says Plug & Charge capabilities are coming soon. The company says its work on charging quality and network growth is intended to support EV sales and adoption across North America.
